Community Crafters has a long-standing tradition of service. This year Community Crafters worked with Lisa Liu, president of the Narcoossee Chapter of the Osceola County Historical Society, to raise money for the 1886 Narcoossee School house.

How? Community Crafters were asked to crochet mosquitoes for the fund-raising craft bazaar. They were able to complete 16 mosquitoes in different sizes and each was given a name.

Community Crafter member Richard has made over 50 lapghans for the VA hospital.

He has also made just as many baby cocoons and hats which were donated to another group. In addition, he made many little pillows for the women undergoing breast cancer treatments.

What makes us different?

Hat Not Hate is an anti-bullying campaign.

Our group made 252 handmade blue hats and donated them to the National Bullying Prevention Campaign. The anti-bullying group distributes the hats to schools across the country for students to wear, empowering them to stand up to bullying.

Cover me with hope

In times of distress a blanket can be a lifeline of comfort. We have made 20 afghans for the lake Nona Veterans Administration and another 20 blankets for Animal Services

Beyond Pregnancy

Beyond Pregnancy Care is an agency dedicated to providing pregnant woman with hope and solutions. We provided 20 blankets, six cocoons with hats, and eight additional baby hats to help women face the challenges that a pregnancy presents.

We've got your back-well actually we've got your head.

Over 100 hats have been presented to Infusion Centers for cancer patients.
